ABS Grade A steel plate and ABS Grade B shipbuilding steel plate is common strength shipbuilding plate which is mainly used for built hull of vessels, ship body construction. The difference between ABS Grade A and ABS Grade B is the temperature of impacting test and impacting energy value.
Normally when thickness above 40mm, the heat treatment shall be Normalized or TMCP, would improve steel strength in yield and tensile points.
