Monorail Crane is a type of lifting device that acts as an option to conventional cranes or conveyors. They are most effective in production applications where materials are repetitively moved from one point to another by two axes of hook movement: up/down via the hoist and forward/back via the monorail beam.

Monorail Crane can be designed into the structure of a building / shop via ceiling or columns, or added later on utilizing different types of supports. It is ideal for process which requires parts to be handled along a single line path or curved path with restrictions. Workstations could be linked in this way if required to fit every individual machinery locations.

There are different options for the operating systems. One of the option is electrical, and count on electric chain hoist and trolley or wire rope hoist which applicable for heavier load. Another option will be manual operating system which rely on manual chain block and trolleys to move and transfer item manually.
