Overhead Crane

An overhead crane, also known as a bridge crane, is a type of crane
that runs on an elevated track, allowing it to move heavy loads horizontally along the track. The crane is comprised of a bridge that spans across two or more supports and a trolley that travels along the bridge, carrying a hoist that lifts and lowers the load.

Overhead cranes are commonly used in industrial settings for material handling, manufacturing, and construction. They are designed to improve efficiency and safety by allowing operators to easily move heavy loads without manual labor. They also come in handy when there are limited spaces for forklift to be operating, as the cranes are installed on running beam structures.
