Lost PLA casting is a method used to make metal parts from 3D printed plastic models. A PLA (plastic) model is printed, covered with a heat-resistant mold material, and then heated to melt the plastic away. Molten metal is poured into the empty space to create the final metal piece.
This process is great for making custom and detailed metal parts from 3D designs.
